ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Joni Delanoeije is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Work and Organisation Studies group at the Faculty of Economics and Business, at KU Leuven in Belgium. Her primary research focuses on workplace well-being and sustainable human-animal interactions using a one welfare approach that simultaneously addresses animal, human and environmental well-being. Combining insights from organizational and systems psychology, ethology and anthrozoology, she aims to further the understanding of human-animal interactions in society. As an expert in the field of home-based telework, she has been focusing on the role of companion animals in the home-workplace.
