Throughout the 30th anniversary year, the Center for Families has been working with our faculty partners and council members to explore ideas and partnerships that will last beyond a celebration and continue to strengthen research about families throughout Purdue University.

From supporting Purdue University families to advocating for preventive health care, health and well-being are central to First Lady Kei Hui’s mission as she engages with the Purdue network and bolsters campus and community resources.

UPDATED – Purdue University men’s basketball center Will Berg, a hospitality and tourism management major in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS), knows the importance of family meals. In a February 2024 feature in the Purdue Exponent, Berg opened up about his love of cooking that started with regular dinners with his father, Martin — a joy that he then shared with other Purdue men’s basketball players.
