Join researchers, practitioners, and community members for a morning of compelling conversations on family caregiving.

This year’s CALC symposium will feature keynote speaker Karen Fingerman, PhD, Wilson Regents Professor of Human Ecology and Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin.

Following the keynote, three faculty researchers will present as well: Jill Suitor, PhD, Melissa Franks, PhD, and Nasreen Lalani, PhD.

The morning concludes with a panel discussion facilitated by Libby Richards, PhD.

The symposium will also include the annual CALC Awards presentation, recognizing outstanding contributions in aging research and the life course. Award winners will be announced at the event.

As part of its Speaker Series, the Center for Families is co-sponsoring this event with the Center on Aging and the Life Course. The CFF Speaker Series brings experts from various fields to share research and ideas that help us better understand and support families throughout all stages of life.
